Flying to Orlando

Airlines offering international flights to Orlando include American Airlines, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic. As it is a year-round destination, it can be tricky to bag cheap flights, but if you travel during the off-peak months (January, May, September, November through early December), and especially outside school holidays, you may be able to find a bargain. All the major US airlines offer flights to Orlando from other cities within the country.

Public Transport:

There are several car hire companies operating here, including Alamo, Dollar and Hertz, and another more based beyond the airport, while there are numerous taxi and shuttle companies offering round-trip transportation to the hotels, including Mears.

Orlando International Airport is located 14.6 km (9.1 miles) southeast of Orlando, in central Florida.


Money:

ATMs are available within the airport buildings, including the four satellite terminals. Banks and bureaux de change services are located in the main terminal building.


Luggage:

There is a lost property service (tel: +1 407 825 2111) on the B side of the main terminal. Trolleys and a porter service are available. Left-luggage facilities are no longer available at the airport.
