Internet access is generally available aboard expedition vessels via satellite, although speed, availability and charges vary considerably between operators and ships. Connections may be slower or less reliable than on land and can be affected by the vessel's location and weather conditions. Visitors should check the facilities and charges offered by their expedition operator before departure.
